Kern County Museum – Ruiz Wedding

Posted: August 3rd, 2010   |   Category: News

My most recent wedding was in Bakersfield at the Kern County Museum.  I was actually born and raised (until 6th grade) in Bakersfield so I was really excited to go shoot a wedding there, especially at the museum.  For some reason I thought the wedding was going to be inside, so I wore black dress pants, a black shirt and my long hair down.  Shortly after arriving I saw it was outside and realized it was time to put my hair up and brave the July heat.

Anthony and Nichol were a great couple to work with.  They were incredibly relaxed about everything and gave me the go to do as I pleased.  It was a semi-casual but intimate wedding.  Their family and friends were all wonderfully friendly.  I had a great time at this wedding and hope to work with more couples like them in the near future.
